Floor plan, tables and the diary
Set up areas, tables and combinations so availability is accurate, then run the live day planner to seat and progress bookings as service flows.
When you'd use it
During setup, to make availability accurate; and every service, to run the room from the day planner.
How it behaves
Create areas for each part of the venue, such as Main Floor, Terrace or Bar. Add tables with a name, a minimum and maximum capacity, and a seating priority, and set accessibility flags where they apply. Create combinations to join tables for larger parties. Place tables on the visual floor plan so the diary shows real occupancy at a glance.
The day planner is the live view of service. Tables run down the side, grouped by area, with a continuous timeline across the top, and each booking is a pill coloured by its status. Drag a pill to move it, drag its edge to change the duration, and tap it to open the guest, party, notes, allergens and charges. Progress the status as service runs, from arrived to seated, through courses, to complete.
A table can be blocked for a period with a close-out, the planner warns before a move that would clash with another booking, and tables can be assigned to staff for the service.
