Marketing and attribution

See who opened, clicked and came back from a campaign, and attribute the bookings and visits that followed to the sends and workflows that drove them.

When you'd use it

To justify marketing spend and find which campaigns and workflows actually drive guests back.

How it behaves

See opens, clicks and a return-visit rate for a campaign, tied back to real Wi-Fi visits, so marketing is judged on guests coming back rather than just who opened. Per-campaign views show the funnel; per-workflow views show step-by-step drop-off.

A return-on-investment figure is modelled from a spend-per-head value you set against those return visits, not measured card takings, and the report is honest about that. Alongside it, bookings are attributed by source, with UTM, Google-versus-direct, and first- and last-touch views, and vouchers issued and redeemed are tracked by campaign, venue and guest. Where a campaign’s bookings carried Square orders, their measured revenue is shown too.

Good to know

  • The return-visit ROI is a modelled estimate from a spend-per-head figure, not measured card revenue.

  • Attribution depends on links being instrumented and a defined attribution window.

  • Where bookings carried Square orders, their measured revenue is shown on the campaign’s booking report.
