The live table view
Staff see a live feed of orders grouped by table, updating in real time as orders are placed and paid.
When you'd use it
During service, to keep track of every table’s orders and payment state in one place.
How it behaves
The live view shows orders grouped by table, each with its items, running total and current state, updating in real time as staff take orders and payments. Orders move through open, in progress, completed and cancelled, and the view separates what is still open from what has been completed today.
The view also covers the Square Terminal devices, showing which are paired and online, so the team can see at a glance whether a terminal needs attention.
