Guests see the right venue
The box is assigned to another venue
- Go to Hardware in the left menu.
- Find the venue's box: type the venue or serial into Search serial, model or venue….
- Check Assignment names the venue guests are standing in. On a phone the column is hidden: click Manage to see the venue.
Swapped between sites
With several sites, two boxes can end up swapped, especially after kit was moved or reinstalled. Check each site's box shows the right Assignment.
Send us the details
Email support at agent@stampede.ai with:
- The venue name guests see, and the venue they are standing in.
- The box's serial: click Manage on its row, then Copy serial.
- Your IT provider's details, if you run your own hardware rather than a Stampede box.
Check it worked
Join the guest Wi-Fi at the venue: the login page shows the right venue's name.
Good to know
- A box moved between sites keeps serving its old venue until it is reassigned. See the hardware page.
- Unlink from venue does not fix this: it only stops the venue managing the box. Email us instead.
- Only Admin, Moderator, Marketing, Reports and IT can see Wi-Fi.
