Check your boxes on the Hardware page

In short: open Hardware to see every SnapGuard box and whether it is online. Click Manage on a box to change it.

Find a box

1. Go to Hardware in the left menu.
2. Click a total at the top to filter, such as VPN online or Needs attention.
3. To find one box, type in Search serial, model or venue….

A box needs attention when it is offline, has no venue, or its backup pairing has a problem.

Read the list

• Status: Online or Offline.
• Assignment: the venue, Not assigned, or Standby only (a backup box).
• Role: Standard, Dual-WAN, Resilient main or Resilient standby.

Manage a box

1. Click Manage on the box's row.
2. Under Device actions, pick one:
   • Set up as a venue box (give it a venue). See set up a new SnapGuard box.
   • Use as resilient standby or Move to resilient standby (pair it with a main box as a backup). Shown only for an unpaired box with its password registered.
   • Open venue (go to its venue).
   • Unlink from venue (free it for another venue).
3. Click Copy serial if support asks for it, then Done.

Check it worked

The box shows Online with the right venue under Assignment.

Need help?

If a box shows Offline, follow your SnapGuard box is offline first.

Email support at agent@stampede.ai with:

• The box's serial (click Copy serial).
• The venue it should serve.
• When it last worked.

Good to know

• Unlinking asks you to confirm. The box keeps its password, so it can be set up elsewhere, but the venue stops managing it until a box is assigned again.
• Unlink from venue does not show for a box in a backup pair. Remove the pairing first.
• FOH cannot see Hardware. Every other role can, including IT.
