Your SnapGuard box shows as offline

Your SnapGuard Wi-Fi box shows offline or degraded. Restart it in the right order, then read the Health page.

1 min read

In short: unplug your SnapGuard box, fully restart your router, then plug the box back in. While it is offline, guests may miss the login page.

Restart in this order

  1. Unplug your SnapGuard box from the power.
  2. Fully restart your router and wait until it is back online.
  3. Plug the box back in and check its lights come back on.

Check it worked

  1. Choose your venue in the venue switcher, top left (on a phone, tap Menu first).
  2. Go to Wi-Fi › SnapGuard › Health.
  3. Click Re-check.

The status should say Healthy, with a green dot on VPN connected.

Still offline or degraded

Read the What to do next box on Health (shown when the status is not Healthy). Its steps are technical, so if you are not sure, take a screenshot of the page and send it to support.

Email support at agent@stampede.ai with:

  • A screenshot of the Health page.
  • When the box went offline, and whether you restarted it in the order above.
  • Whether your internet provider or router changed recently.

Good to know

  • Degraded means one or more checks need attention. Guests may still connect.
  • When the box is down, the VPN figure at the top shows Down with when it was last seen, or Disconnected.
  • Only Admin, Moderator, Marketing, Reports and IT can see Wi-Fi.
