Why you get Mission Control emails, and how to stop them

Mission Control emails are health alerts about your venue Wi-Fi kit. Check your Wi-Fi, then switch them off for yourself if you do not need them.

In short: Mission Control emails are health alerts about your venue Wi-Fi kit. To stop yours, click Disable next to Notifications in System Health.

your own Mission Control alerts

Check your Wi-Fi first

  1. Choose your venue in the venue switcher, top left (on a phone, tap Menu first).
  2. Go to Wi-Fi. The status, top right, says Online or Offline.
  3. If it says Online and the login page opens on your own phone, your guest Wi-Fi is working and nothing needs fixing.

If it says Offline, see your SnapGuard box shows as offline or the Wi-Fi login page does not load.

Stop the emails

  1. On Wi-Fi, with your venue chosen, click the Online or Offline status, then Health.
  2. In System Health, find Notifications. It says Mission Control notifications are enabled.
  3. Click Disable. This turns off both the emails and the push alerts.

You can also switch them off, with email and push separately, on Account › Notifications. Each change there saves straight away.

Check it worked

System Health now says Mission Control notifications are disabled. Click Fix there to turn them back on.

Good to know

  • It is your own setting. It stops your alerts for every venue, and each team member switches off their own.
  • Someone who has left still gets them? Remove them from your team. See take over the account when someone leaves.
  • Turning the alerts off changes nothing on your Wi-Fi.
  • Only Admin, Moderator, Marketing, Reports and IT can see Wi-Fi.
