Set party sizes, custom durations and a table buffer

In short: in Main Settings › Party Sizes, set the smallest and largest party, longer durations and a table buffer.

Steps

1. Go to Bookings › Main Settings › Party Sizes, then choose your venue.
2. Set Minimum party size and Maximum party size.
3. Optional: turn on Custom party-size durations, then Add duration to give a party size its own length.
4. Optional: turn on Table buffer and set the Buffer duration, time held after each booking before the table can be rebooked.
5. Click Save changes.

Using booking types? Base configuration covers bookings with no type (save with Save changes). To change one type only, open it under Booking types and click Save followed by its name.

Good to know

• A party size also needs a table or combination that fits it. See online bookings not showing for a party size.
• Bigger groups can come through as enquiries.
• FOH, Bookings Manager, Marketing and IT cannot see Main Settings.
