In short: a sent email cannot be recalled. Stop anything still due to send, then check the audience and send yourself a preview next time.

- 2It sent old content
- 3Guests got it twice, or a similar email
- 4Some of it has not gone yet
Find what went wrong
Go to Marketing › Email Campaigns and open the campaign.
It went to the wrong guests
Check Audience on the campaign. A copy made with Duplicate keeps the original's audience, sender, voucher and content, so check each one before you send it. The report's Customers list shows who it went to.
It sent old content
A copy made with Duplicate carries the content the original had when you copied it. Check you opened and sent the right campaign: copies have [clone] at the end of the name. Revision history on the campaign shows its earlier versions.
To see exactly what a guest got, look up their address in Email Audit.
Guests got it twice, or a similar email
Check for other campaigns or workflows that reach the same guests:
- An Automation campaign sends every time a guest meets its audience, not once.
- Workflows, such as a welcome or birthday email, send on their own, separately from campaigns.
- Two campaigns with overlapping audiences both send to the guests in both.
Some of it has not gone yet
Click the three dots on the campaign's row, then Cancel schedule or Cancel campaign. For an automation, click Pause automation. Cancelling stops what has not been sent. Emails already delivered stay in guests' inboxes.
Before you send next time
- Check Audience, Send from and the subject.
- Click the preview button, add yourself under Recipients, then click Send preview.
- Read the email in your own inbox.
- Click Send now, and read Send this campaign now? before you confirm.
Check it worked
Your preview arrives with the content you expect. A campaign you stopped no longer shows Scheduled, Sending or Active.
If that does not fix it
Email support at agent@stampede.ai with:
- The campaign name, and the audience you chose.
- A forwarded copy of the email a guest received.
- When it went out.
Good to know
- Sending saves your latest edits first, so you do not need to save before Send now.
- Guests who unsubscribe after a wrong email show as Unsubscribed on the report.
- If the campaign has not sent at all, see my email campaign has not sent.
- Only Admin, Moderator and Marketing can see Marketing.
