What Stampede looks after
- The guest Wi-Fi login page, and the guest details it collects.
- Your SnapGuard box, if you have one: its guest network, its till network if you set one up, and its health checks.
- With your own controller: the link from Stampede to it, so guests are let online after the login page.
What your provider or IT company looks after
- Your internet line and the router your provider gave you.
- Your switches, access points and Wi-Fi controller, and their settings.
- Staff Wi-Fi, tills, card machines, printers and cameras, unless they are on the SnapGuard till network.
Work out which it is
The whole internet is down
Nothing works, not just guest Wi-Fi. Contact your internet provider first.
Guests see no login page
Start with the Wi-Fi login page does not load.
Guests are signing in, but it is slow or patchy
Choose your venue, then check Wi-Fi › SnapGuard › Health and Sessions. If the box is Healthy and guests show on Sessions, the fault is usually on the venue network, such as an access point or switch. Support will tell your IT company what it sees.
Tills or card machines are down
Contact your till or IT provider. If they run on the SnapGuard till network, email support as well.
When to email us
Email support at agent@stampede.ai with:
- Your venue and what is not working.
- A screenshot of Health, if you have a SnapGuard box.
- Your IT company's contact, so we can work with them directly.
Good to know
- Keep tills and card machines off the guest Wi-Fi. A SnapGuard till network is for tills, printers and card readers, with no sign-in page. You name it at Till network name during setup.
- Only Admin, Moderator, Marketing, Reports and IT can see Wi-Fi.
