Let guests choose a table type, like a booth or the garden

In short: make one booking type per table group, turn on Custom table selection, and pick only that group's tables.

Set it up

1. Go to Bookings › Booking Types, then choose your venue.
2. Click New booking type.
3. Under Basics, check Active is on, and add a Name, Description and Header image.
4. Set Party sizes to match the group's tables.
5. Under Tables and availability, turn on Custom table selection.
6. Pick only that group's tables in Available tables, plus any Table combinations that suit.
7. Click Save, top right. Repeat for each group.

To reuse a type instead, click its copy icon in the list, then Edit on the "[copy]" row it makes, and start at step 3.

Check it worked

Open the type's Web link and try a few party sizes as a guest would.

Good to know

• A type is not offered for a party size its tables or combinations cannot fit.
• If the same tables sit in two types, both types compete for them.
• Hidden from the booking page keeps a type off the page but bookable by direct link.
