Table management
Table management is the software a venue uses to plan and run its floor: which tables exist, how they combine, and which bookings and walk-ins sit where across a service. A good system balances covers against capacity in real time, so hosts can seat guests quickly without double-booking a table.
How stampede does it.
Every booking lands on the live day planner, with table combinations, covers and capacity handled. Seat a booking and it opens on the Square till, and a walk-in rung up at the till appears back in Stampede. A waitlist with ETAs and two-way texts runs host-side or online, and each visit is left on the guest’s profile.

No-show deposit
A no-show deposit is a payment a restaurant or venue takes when a guest books, held against the reservation and kept or charged if the guest fails to turn up or cancels too late.
Pre-order
A pre-order is food and drink a guest chooses before they arrive, usually when they book or in the days before their visit.
Per-cover fee
A per-cover fee is a charge a booking platform takes for each diner seated through a reservation, rather than a fixed subscription.
