Per-cover fee
A per-cover fee is a charge a booking platform takes for each diner seated through a reservation, rather than a fixed subscription. Because the cost rises with every guest, a busier venue pays more for the same software. Some platforms charge per reservation instead, or on top, which works the same way.
How stampede does it.
Stampede charges one flat price per venue for the whole platform, with no per-cover fees. Direct bookings taken through a venue’s own Stampede page and Google carry no charge per reservation and no charge per cover, so the price does not move with covers, orders or Square spend.
