No-show rate
A no-show rate is the percentage of reservations, or booked covers, where the guest neither arrived nor cancelled. It is worked out by dividing no-shows by total bookings for a period. Because an empty table is hard to resell at short notice, it is one of the numbers restaurants watch most closely.
How stampede does it.
Deposits are collected online at the point of booking and recorded against that booking, with cancellation charges and no-show rules the venue controls, the main lever venues use to cut no-shows. Reporting shows no-shows for every venue, and a no-showed booking can start a win-back workflow. ART Hospitality runs eight venues on Stampede with a 0.3% no-show rate across the eight.

No-show deposit
A no-show deposit is a payment a restaurant or venue takes when a guest books, held against the reservation and kept or charged if the guest fails to turn up or cancels too late.
Covers
Covers are the number of guests a restaurant, pub or hotel serves, counted per person rather than per table or per booking, so a table of four is four covers.
Win-back journey
A win-back journey is an automated series of messages sent to guests who have not returned for a while, or who cancelled, designed to bring them back.
