Captive portal
A captive portal is the web page a guest sees when they join a public Wi-Fi network, before they are allowed onto the internet. It can ask them to accept terms, sign in or share their details, which makes it the point where an anonymous device becomes a known, contactable guest.
How stampede does it.
A guest joins the Wi-Fi and lands on a splash page in the venue’s own brand, not a generic router page. The venue chooses the fields, from email, name and birthday to phone, postcode and its own questions, alongside the marketing opt-in. For most venues the SNAPguard appliance plugs into the existing router or controller, set up with our team.
