Wallet pass
A wallet pass is a digital card stored in a phone’s built-in wallet app, such as Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, alongside boarding passes and bank cards. In hospitality it usually carries a loyalty card or a voucher, so a guest can show and use it without downloading a separate app.
How stampede does it.
The loyalty card sits in Apple or Google Wallet, carrying the venue’s logo, colours and name, with nothing for guests to download. Guests join from the Wi-Fi, a QR code, a booking or the till, and sign-up takes the email and the marketing opt-in in one step. The pass carries the venue’s locations, so it can surface on the lock screen nearby.
