Point of sale (POS)
A point of sale, or POS, is the till system a hospitality business uses to take orders and payments, software on a terminal or tablet with card readers. It holds the menu, sends orders to the bar and kitchen and records every sale, which makes it the richest source of spend data a venue has.
How stampede does it.
Square is the only point of sale Stampede integrates with today. PayOS is Stampede's two-way Square integration: every order, payment and walk-in from your Square point of sale lands on one guest profile. Venues connect the Square account and hardware they already use, with nothing to install. Venues on another till can still run bookings, Wi-Fi, marketing, reviews and loyalty on Stampede, without spend on the profile.
