A short round-up of everything that went live across Stampede in November 2026.
Guests choose a collection time
Collection checkout now asks when you are coming. On a collection menu with scheduling switched on, the step before payment shows the next two hours as pills, puts the rest of the day behind a select, and leaves as soon as possible selected by default, so a guest who wants food now never has to make a decision they do not care about. Before this shipped on 2 November, the collection checkout took the money and said nothing about timing, which meant an order placed for later looked identical to an order placed for now, and the guest's order page told them the kitchen had their ticket when the kitchen did not have it yet. A held ticket now says when the kitchen gets it, not that it has it. On the collection menu's policy form you set how much notice that menu needs, so a kitchen asking for 25 minutes is never offered a slot ten minutes out. We also fixed the link text: the collection link now says collection, which it should have done from the start.
On a Saturday, that is the 11:15 order for a 13:00 pickup, four portions, sitting as a held ticket instead of hitting the pass at 11:16 and going cold under the lamp while the guest is still at the shops. One honest caveat before you switch it on: there is an open issue on the Square side where a scheduled ticket can print as soon as it is paid, so the product now tells you to watch where your first collection tickets land, and we mean watch them, not assume. It is in Ordering, on the collection menu, with the notice setting on that menu's policy form, and it applies per menu rather than per venue, so table ordering is untouched if you only want it for pickup.
