Account Executive

Full-cycle new business across the Stampede suite, with a heavy outbound motion. You generate most of your own pipeline, run the discovery and the demo, and close it. If you like the phone and you like a scoreboard, this is the seat.

What we sell

In plain terms.

Stampede is one platform for hospitality: guest Wi-Fi, bookings, loyalty, reviews, payments and marketing, all feeding one guest record the venue owns. An operator currently running five disconnected tools is your prospect, and the pitch is that their guest data stops sitting in five places doing nothing.

We charge a flat price per venue with no per-cover fees, which matters in this market: you are not spending the last ten minutes of a negotiation defending a meter that charges the operator more for a good Saturday.

The role

Cold call to closed.

You own the full cycle for new-logo opportunities, from cold call and self-generated lead through to signed contract. This is an outbound-heavy seat: you are expected to generate the majority of your own pipeline through high-volume cold calling, targeted email and disciplined outbound activity.

Inbound, event, marketing and partner-sourced leads come on top of that. They supplement what you build, they do not replace it, and the difference between those two sentences is most of what this job is.

The full sales cycle for a new-logo dealSix steps left to right. One, cold call and outreach. Two, the meeting is booked. Three, structured discovery. Four, a demo that follows the guest journey. Five, proposal, pricing and close. Six, handover to onboarding and customer success. Steps one and two are self-generated: the majority of your pipeline comes from your own outbound rather than from inbound, marketing, partner or event leads, which supplement it.INBOUND, MARKETING, PARTNER AND EVENT LEADS SUPPLEMENT THISSELF-GENERATED01COLD CALLAND OUTREACH02MEETINGBOOKED03STRUCTUREDDISCOVERY04DEMO ON THEGUEST JOURNEY05PROPOSALAND CLOSE06HANDOVER TOONBOARDINGA CLEAN HANDOVER IS PART OF THE CLOSE

What you would be doing

Three parts.

Outbound and prospecting

  • Generate the majority of your own pipeline through high-volume outbound: daily cold calling, targeted email and LinkedIn outreach into ICP-fit hospitality venues and groups.
  • Build and work target account lists with personalised, well-researched outreach that earns the meeting rather than relying on volume alone.
  • Hold consistent daily cold-call activity against agreed standards.
  • Use LLM tooling as standard for account research, call prep, personalised outreach and follow-ups. You should already be doing this and able to show how it lets you do more.

Running the cycle

  • Run structured discovery on every opportunity: the venue’s guest journey, their tech stack and their commercial goals. Qualify hard, so pipeline reflects real winnable deals.
  • Run demos that follow the guest journey rather than the feature list, showing how capture, marketing, bookings, loyalty and reviews compound into repeat visits.
  • Produce proposals, pricing and ROI breakdowns tied to revenue and adoption, then negotiate and close.
  • Hit a monthly new business MRR quota with well-attributed pipeline.

After the close

  • Run a clean handover to onboarding and customer success so new customers activate quickly, and stay close through early life to spot expansion signals.
  • Represent Stampede at events and in the market, and feed recurring objections, gaps and wins back to go-to-market and product.
  • Work with marketing and partnerships on lead quality, routing and attribution, and keep the CRM current so every deal carries its correct source, stage and close date.

What we are looking for

Phone and judgement.

Two or more years in B2B sales

Ideally SaaS or hospitality tech, and comfortable running a full cycle with several stakeholders in the room.

Genuinely comfortable on the phone

High-volume cold calling is a core part of this role, not an occasional chore. That means being at ease with both the rhythm and the rejection that outbound demands.

Strong discovery

You can diagnose the actual problem, qualify hard, and tie the product to a commercial outcome rather than a feature.

Commercially sharp

You handle objections, negotiate and close without losing momentum.

Disciplined

On CRM, forecasting and follow-up, and able to close across sources without over-relying on any one channel.

Curious about AI tooling

Not as a novelty. As the thing that lets one person research, personalise and follow up at a volume that used to take three.

Bonus points

Not essential.

  • Hospitality or hospitality-tech experience, and familiarity with POS, bookings, loyalty or payments.
  • A track record selling a multi-product suite into SMB or mid-market.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot and prospecting tools such as Cognism or ZoomInfo, and experience building ROI cases.
Being straight about it

The hard parts.

We would rather you knew this before applying than three weeks after starting.

  • This is an outbound role. If you are looking for a seat where inbound fills your diary, this is the wrong one: inbound, marketing, partner and event leads supplement your pipeline, they do not replace it.
  • It is office based. We expect you in Edinburgh with the team, so it will not suit anyone looking for remote or hybrid working.
  • There is a monthly MRR quota and a daily activity standard, and both are visible. That suits people who like a scoreboard and frustrates people who do not.
  • We sell a suite, not a single product, so the learning curve covers bookings, Wi-Fi, loyalty, reviews, payments and marketing before you are dangerous in a demo.
  • Rejection is the job some days. The people who do well here are the ones who treat a no as information rather than a verdict.
What you get

The offer.

  • Salary dependent on experience, with uncapped commission paid monthly.
  • A desk in our Edinburgh office, and time out at events and customer venues across the UK.
  • A suite worth selling. Bookings, Wi-Fi, loyalty, reviews, payments and marketing in one platform, against a market still running five disconnected tools.
  • Flat pricing and no per-cover fees, so you are not defending a meter in every negotiation.
  • Direct access to the founders and to the engineers who build the product, and a short line between what you hear in the market and what gets built.
How to apply

Apply.

Submit your CV through the form on this page. We are hiring for an immediate start and will review applications as they come in rather than waiting on a closing date.

If you want your application to stand out, tell us about a deal you sourced yourself: how you found them, what the first call sounded like, and what nearly killed it. We will read that before we read the CV.

We are happy to hear from people who do not tick every box above. If you have the phone temperament and the commercial instinct, tell us and we will talk.
