Repeat The Message

Try this: head to your social media channels or customer email system. When was the last time you shared information about in-venue safety measures?

You might find it’s been longer than you think as the focus shifted to EOTHO and other operations. It’s pretty common for businesses to send out a message once and move on to the next topic.

If it’s been more than 2 weeks since your last message about safety measures, it’s worth sending a reminder email to customers, and posting something on social media. The more you repeat the message, the more likely it is to be seen.

CGA’s latest Brandtrack data shows that 65% of people have now returned to restaurants, bars and other venues. There’s still a large proportion to come back, not to mention the continuing need to reassure all customers as things change.

Make It Easy

To save time, don’t be afraid to reuse the content from a previous message or post. Give it a quick proof read and update anything out of date before sending.

The chances of people calling you out for being repetitive are extremely small on both social media and in email. Especially if it’s got a few small changes, like a new image or subject line.

Make It Better

There’s more content you could add into that message now too. Using positive reviews regarding the atmosphere or ambience in light of safety measures as part of a reminder will give the message an even greater impact this time.

Whether you’re looking to send a reminder with some improvements, or send your first email, we’re here to help. Get in touch with one of our team to get started.
