When Patrick Clover first started installing guest Wi-Fi systems in hospitality venues, he noticed the same problem everywhere. Hospitality teams were working hard to create memorable experiences for their guests – and then watching all that goodwill disappear the moment the visit was over. No record of who'd been in. No way to reach them again. No connection between the booking, the visit, the payment, and the person.
Patrick founded Stampede in 2016 to fix that.
Hospitality has always been about people: the warm welcome, the remembered name, the table that feels like it was set just for you. Great operators know this instinctively. What they shouldn't have to fight is their own technology getting in the way.
For too long, that's exactly what's been happening. Guest data is locked in separate systems. Repeat visitors who feel like strangers on their second visit. Marketing teams spending hours on tasks that intelligent technology should be handling automatically. The tools existed, but they never really talked to each other – and that gap showed up where it hurts most: in the guest experience.
Stampede was built to close that gap.
We started from a straightforward belief: that every guest interaction – a Wi-Fi login, a booking, a payment, a loyalty stamp, a review – is an opportunity to understand someone better and serve them more personally. So we built a technology platform that captures all of it, creating singular guest profiles with every touchpoint that the whole team can actually use.
What sets Stampede apart isn't just the breadth of what it does, it's the way the platform was built. Stampede was designed as one unified platform from day one: a single data architecture where every module, from table bookings to CRM to loyalty to payments, enriches the same guest record in real time. Not a patchwork of acquisitions, no integrations relying on workarounds, no legacy infrastructure dressed up with a new interface.
That unified foundation is critical for AI, which is only as good as the data beneath it. Clean, connected data delivers actionable insights. Fragmented data just creates noise.
In a market where incumbent players are assembling "unified" platforms through a series of acquisitions and calling it transformation, that distinction is becoming the most important one in hospitality technology. We believe AI can and will improve the relationship between the hospitality industry and their technology, but only with the right foundations.
Stampede is chosen by ambitious operators who've outgrown the compromise. Who want growth without the complexity, personalisation without the manual effort, and technology that genuinely earns its place in the business. We're built for venues that believe their best days are still ahead of them.
Because in hospitality, growth and great experience aren't in tension. With the right foundation, they reinforce each other.
Stampede. Designed for hospitality. Built for growth.
