The twenty-one remaining entries from the July 2026 feature log, screen by screen.
Our Shipped in July post covered venue music and the new audience builder. The feature log for the same month has twenty-three entries. That was a mistake on our part: most of what shipped was the unglamorous work that makes a Friday service go smoothly, and it deserved a paragraph each. Here it is.
On the day planner
Hold to book. On touch screens you now press and hold to create a booking, so a stray swipe during service can no longer leave a phantom reservation on the planner (19 July).
Assign tables visually. Pick a table on the left and watch the booking land on the live day planner on the right, with any clash shown in red before you commit (21 July).
Walk-ins, reworked. A cleaner walk-in sheet, a confirmation before a table is moved, and notes on the booking (18 July). Walk-ins were 47% of all July bookings on the platform, so this sheet is now the most used screen we have.
Planner freeze fixed. Switching to another app on iPad and coming back no longer freezes the planner or breaks scrolling, so nobody restarts it mid-service (19 July). The mobile planner also runs edge to edge now, with a narrower resource column and no bookings hidden behind the bottom menu.
Truer availability. Close-out times fold into the day prefetch, so what the widget shows is right first time (15 July). Event date pickers honour how far ahead you allow bookings (13 July), and the alert-me opt-in now appears on per-type booking pages (2 July).
Cleaner booking settings. Rebuilt with the save button fixed in one place, tidier sections, drag to reorder menus, readable reports and proper mobile support (20 July).
In the inbox
The inbox is its own fast app now (16 July). When your team replies to an enquiry, the guest gets a private link showing the whole conversation in one timeline, and they can answer in one tap without logging in (20 July). That link is also how you hand a thread to someone outside the team.
In marketing
Quick campaigns send straight off a simple segment in a couple of clicks (17 July). Same-day scheduling means a campaign can go at four this afternoon, not just tomorrow onwards (28 July). Allow and block lists for email addresses live on the marketing screens (23 July), and the campaigns page was rebuilt on the new UI kit with a confirmation before anything is deleted (24 July).
On Wi-Fi
Bring your own hardware: add your own device through a guided setup wizard, with your current kit listed per venue (16 July). This is guided, not self-serve: the wizard gets the device onto the network, and our team still checks the configuration before guests use it.
The Wi-Fi reporting page and captive reports were rebuilt around the questions operators actually ask (14 July). The networks list was flattened and the scan page streamlined (15 July). The portal now honours controller timing on auth handoff, so slower UniFi controllers stop dropping guests (25 July).
Across the platform
A new front door: navigation and home rebuilt, with a proper mobile nav for running things from a phone (29 July). Pending team invitations show in the nav, with clearer errors and per-user venue access screens (31 July).
What we changed about this post
From now on the monthly write-up covers every entry in the feature log, with a screenshot of each screen, and each entry on the log links to its paragraph here. The log itself is public at stampede.ai/feature-log, fixes included.
