In this industry insight, we surveyed over 2,000 Brits from across the country to find out more about the latest social routines and attitudes to connectivity. The results give an up to date snapshot of the challenges and opportunites for the hospitality industry in this time of huge digital focus.

As we get to know our customers and their businesses we have been finding there are a lot of assumptions made about how Brits interact with drinking and dining venues. Do people still have a local pub? How often do they visit their favourite venue? Do they know their pub landlord or favourite restaurant owner by name? So many questions…

We thought we’d throw some science in to the mix, and ramp up everyone’s understanding with some real numbers.

We commissioned this survey looking for answers and insight, and it delivered! Highlights include revealing figures about how dependent Brits are on data versus things like TV, chocolate and even love; plus a fresh understanding of what the “local” really means these days.
